Here is a
simple little tip to save some headaches.
There are many time when you would like to make sure that a nut does not
vibrate lose or loosen up over time.
Ceiling fans, small motor mounts, automotive applications etc. If you’re like me there is usually no
“Loktite”TM handy when you want to make sure the nut stays in
place. Not to worry. A drop or two of nail polish on the threads
and then around the nut will give you the secure fit you need almost
indefinitely.
