Tip of The Week
August 11, 2007
| |
This week’s
tip comes from our “Don’t lose your marbles” file.
| |
Plumb and
level are two critical attributes to any project but it can be difficult to
determine how close you are on any given surface. Laser technology has brought us light years
(pun intended) ahead but some of the devices can be a little pricey for one
time use.

| |
If
you want an inexpensive way to tell if your floor is out of level get a
marble. Set it on the floor. If it rolls away the floor is out of level. I suppose it would be more impressive if we
could tell you something more complicated but it’s just as easy as it sounds.
